James Martin S.J.-episode 223
Father James Martin is a favorite guest of mine. He is always working on his ‘next’ book but doesn’t have a new release right now. Though he mentions his upcoming book Learning to Pray that you can be looking for. I wanted to catch up with him and talk about what life looks like in his world during the shelter in place days of the Coronavirus crisis. The fun part of this podcast is when James and I found out we grew up in the exact same place, Plymouth Meeting, PA, at exactly the same time! We are the same age. You’ll have to listen and hear the story. So we are forever connected. Who knew?!
After this initial revelation, we go on to talk about life during the pandemic along with what life returning to “normal” might look like. Let’s face it, there will be no normal for a while. We also talk about Father Martin’s daily Faith Sharings that he’s been doing using Facebook Live. It’s a delightful conversation that I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
I mentioned these two favorite books Mike and I have read by Father Martin: The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything and Jesus: A Pilgrimage.
