David Gushee joins me on the podcast this week. He is Distinguished University Professor of Christian Ethics at Mercer University and past President of both the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Christian Ethics. He is the author of more than twenty books including Still Christian, Changing Our Mind, and After Evangelicalism, which is the focus of this particular podcast.

I listened to the audio books of Still Christian, Gushee’s memoir, as well as After Evangelicalism in preparation for this conversation. If you have been increasing disillusioned with Evangelicalism, I highly recommend listening to this podcast and also reading the two books just mentioned.
