Casper ter Kuile-episode 235
Casper ter Kuile joins me on the podcast this week. Many of you might know him as the cohost of the award-winning podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. Besides being a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School, he is, among other things, an excellent writer. You’ve possibly read his work in the New York Times, Boston Globe, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post to name a few.
On the podcast we focus on the content of his book The Power of Ritual: Turning Everyday Activities into Soulful Practices. How we find connection today has changed. Casper’s book posits that we may no longer seek purpose and community within traditional religious spaces. That being the case, how do we make the things we do every day fulfill our search for meaning? This is where the conversation on ritual comes in.
