Amy-Jill Levine – episode 293
I am pleased to have Amy-Jill Levine on the podcast this week. She is Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. She is now University Professor of New Testament and Jewish studies Emerita at Vanderbilt Divinity School and College of Arts and Sciences.
We spend our time learning about her background and why a Jewish woman would become a New Testament scholar as well as focusing on her latest book, The Difficult Words of Jesus. A fascinating conversation full of humor. If you’ve not met Amy-Jill Levine before, I hope you’ll listen to this podcast!
